1 million God of War III sold
Kratos takes to the charts

If Kratos was a musician, his violent metal music album would have sold platinum by now - according to VGChartz, God of War III has sold in 1.1 million copies since it was released last week. 700 000 of those have been sold in America, with the remaining 400 000 sold in Europe and other territories.
So far God of War, the original game, has the record of the series with 4 million sold copies - but we wonder if the new and improved Kratos won't be able to beat that.
