Destiny 2 didn't satisfy all of the fans, but after the release of the Forsaken expansion players seemed to be more satisfied. According to journalist Jason Schreier, however, Activision has now revealed during an earnings call that some of their "other franchises like Destiny are not performing as well as we'd like".

Another verified account on Twitter that specialises in Destiny 2 (a part of CharlieINTEL.com) writes that Activision is now going to reevaluate "how to improve the title".

It's true that Destiny 2 has changed a lot since launch, and now fans can even get the game for free on Battle.net until November 18 (to keep forever), so perhaps Bungie and Activision can find new ways to keep growing the player base further, following on from Forsaken and modes like Gambit.

What do you think of Destiny 2, and have you tried the Forsaken expansion?
