We caught up with Svein-Gisle Saetre and Karoline Oppedal Aske from Krillbite Studio, the Norwegian outfit responsible for the scary toddler adventure that is Among the Sleep.

We asked about the unique setting and premise of the game, and so Saetre told us: "Basically you are a two-year old child. You wake up in the middle of the night. Scary stuff happens. You crawl out of bed, your teddy is missing and you have to find him, and your mother."

He later added: "It feels like the perfect setting for a horror game like this. You're defenceless and you have to rely on hiding and crawling. And there are so many hiding places from that perspective, so it just fits, we think."

Watch the rest of the interview for more details including how they captured the perspective of playing as a two-year old, the environments that we'll be exploring, and how it was working with Oculus Rift. Among the Sleep releases today on Steam, and it was also recently confirmed as heading to PlayStation 4.

REVIEW. Written by Leevi Rantala

"A game that has a solid idea ends up falling flat on the floor, much like its protagonist."
