Angry Birds Transformers rolls out in October

Rovio's upcoming Angry Birds Transformers has received a launch date - two of them, in fact. The game rolls out onto iOS on the October 15th and onto Android the 30th of the same month.

Be sure to check out the new gameplay trailer below. It seems Angry Birds Transformers will not be the same kind of physics puzzle as many of its predecessors. Instead it looks like some sort of mix of endless runner and shoot 'em up.

But still: Optimus Prime jumping out of Astrotrain? What is this blashemy?
