AngryBird is the Evo 2023 Street Fighter 6 champion

The Ken player has taken one of the first major tournaments since the game's release.

Evo 2023 has now concluded and after a weekend of various different fighting game tournaments and plenty of announcements to boot, we can now report on who has been dubbed as the Street Fighter 6 champion for the annual fighting game event.

Following a few days of competition, "AngryBird" has claimed the tournament and become one of the first Street Fighter 6 champions since the game's debut at the start of June. The Ken player managed to hold off "MenaRD" during the finals of the event, ultimately being dubbed the top competitor in a tournament that saw over 7,000 individual competitors signing up to compete.
