CNCNZ unearthed some text from EA customer support concerning the now cancelled Command & Conquer from Victory Games. This seems to suggest EA are looking for a new studio to take over C&C development.
"For those of you who bought The C&C Ultimate Collection, your early access to the beta will be honored once production of this title resumes under a new studio.
We would like to thank you for your time and interest in Command & Conquer, and we look forward to sharing the news with you when production resumes on this title in the future."
Remains to be seen if anything comes of that search and if that game in turn will be anything like the free-to-play platform Victory Games was building.
