The Esports Championship Series (ECS) wrapped up its eighth season with this past weekend's grand finals, and it was Danish side Astralis who picked up yet another trophy with a win in Faceit's event.

Astralis started off strong in the competition, topping their group with wins over Sharks and Fnatic. They then went on to face Evil Geniuses, beating them 2-1, where they faced their rivals Team Liquid, having defeated Fnatic to get there themselves.

Vertigo was a close 19-15 win for Liquid, but Astralis bounced back to get back-to-back victories on Nuke and Dust II, sealing the title for themselves.
