After we reported that Mundfish's Atomic Heart looks bonkers in the best sort of way last year, we haven't actually heard that much about the game. Well, that looks like it's going to change, as the official Facebook page has revealed that we're getting new gameplay soon, as 11 hours ago a 24-hour countdown started.

This means we'll likely see the new gameplay late this evening in Europe, which will give us more of an insight into the action-RPG set in an alternate version of the USSR filled with future technology like robots and holograms. The trouble is that everything is rather ruined here, so you'll be exploring various biomes and the remnants of abandoned civilisation on your journey.

We've already got a few trailers to share with you while you wait for the new gameplay, which you can see below. Is Atomic Heart looking good to you?

Mundfish is taking a crack at a BioShock-style game with this action-heavy title set in an alternate Soviet Union.
