Audi has revealed its latest form of transportation, and this isn't a car as you would expect. Instead, this is an electric off-roading bike, which has a design that has been inspired by the Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar racer.

The bike, known as the Audi electric mountain bike powered by Fantic, boasts an aluminium frame, and features a 36 Volt, 720 Wh battery that is said to power the motor with 90Nm of torque. In the press release, there's no mention of what range the bike will be able to offer, but we are told that it will feature four levels of electrical assistance, with those being; Eco, Tour, Sport, and Boost - each being built for different kinds of off-road travelling.

The bike will also come in one of three sizes and will retail for a jaw-dropping price starting at £8,499. Take a look at Audi's two-wheeled effort below.
