Battlefield V was only fully revealed a few days ago (have you read our extensive preview by the way?), taking us back to WWII, and what better time for Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb to announce that Battlefield 1943 is now backwards compatible on Xbox One too.

The game came out in 2009 and took us to the Pacific theatre of war, so if you've been itching to revisit some of the classic games in the franchise to prepare you for the October release of Battlefield V, now's the perfect time.
