Battlefield V fans have already had a lot to celebrate this year with the arrival of the Firestorm battle royale mode, but now a new map is landing on May 30, as revealed by a brand new trailer that's just been shared by DICE and EA.

This map is called Mercury, and later this week we can take the fight to the Mediterranean as part of Chapter 3: Trial By Fire. You can see how this map looks via the video, as we can see vehicular skirmishes on the beaches, blazing sunshine on the troops, and planes flying over the shimmering sea.

It's called Mercury because of the real-life Operation Mercury on island of Crete, and we only have a matter of days to wait before we can head into the sun for a change of scenery.

Does this look a good map?

REVIEW. Written by Kim Orremark

"All the work DICE has done in renewing the core mechanics has resulted in an experience that feels tighter than it has done for many years."
