Bioshock "unquestionably" set to return

Take-Two boss reiterates that it's "a permanent franchise."

The Bioshock series is "unquestionably a permanent franchise" for Take-Two, this according to company CEO Strauss Zelnick (via GameSpot).

This comes despite series creators Irrational being disbanded after the release of Infinite, with 2K's California-based studio now taking charge of the franchise from here on in.

"The franchise is in the hands of 2K," Zelnick said. "They'll make announcements in due time about any upcoming releases. But BioShock is unquestionably a permanent franchise for our company and one that we do believe in."
