Bioware's Anthem is perhaps one of the most anticipated games ahead of us, and now the studio's Mark Darrah has taken to Twitter to give us little bits and pieces of information about the game when answering fan questions, including the fact that there won't be any mod support whatsoever either on PC or consoles.
What's more is Darrah clarified that there won't be any underwater combat, but we will see underwater creatures which will look pretty nice. We'll also get both patterns and textures to personalise the look of our Javelin, and we can enjoy these looks as long as we want during a mission, since the missions don't have time limits. That said, the game can detect if a player is absent via an AFK (Away From Keyboard) detection.
We can also use hip fire shooting to spray bullets in fights, as Darrah explained, and with regards to the Javelins, you can't explore the story without them and third-person within the Javelins is "story relevant".
So folks, are you already hyped for more on Anthem straight from Gamescom? Stay tuned to Gamereactor if so, because we're at the show this week and reporting on all the juicy news.
