BLAST is one of the biggest tournament organisers in the world, mainly known for its involvement in the Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six scene. Soon, it will also be well-regarded for its Dota 2 events too, as BLAST has now massively committed to Valve's MOBA.

BLAST has announced that it will be hosting five Dota 2 events in 2024/25. This will mark the start of regular hosting gigs, which will be ramped up to the point where Dota 2 will become the second biggest game after CS2 to feature on BLAST.tv.

We're told that the first of these tournaments will be a live studio event between November 26 and December 1 this year, and will then be followed by four events in 2025. As for when they will be, you can see the schedule below.

  • 4th - 9th February 2025

  • 6th - 11th May 2025

  • 14th - 19th October 2025

  • 25th - 30th November 2025

It's noted that BLAST Slam will be the home for Dota 2 esports on the organiser's platform, and as per format, prize pool, locations, and all the other important bits and pieces of information, this will all be shared this summer.
