It's no secret that the launch of the brand new World of Warcraft expansion Warlords of Draenor has been plagued by the same server problem that's (sadly) associated with all of Blizzard's major new releases. Tons of people were simply not able to play for days following the launch on November 13th, due to overcrowded servers that in no way could handle the traffic.

Now the problems seem to have subsided, but that doesn't mean people have forgotten those rocky days in the beginning. They haven't forgotten the ridiculous server queues where literally thousands of players were placed in line waiting for a spot to open up.

Luckily, neither has Blizzard themselves, and as a token of their appreciation for their fans patience, they are now offering five days of free subscription time to anyone who were active as of November 14th:

"I know how much everyone was looking forward to this expansion, and once you were able to get in and start having fun, all the comments I've seen indicate that this is one of our best yet", executive producer J. Allen Brack writes on Battle.net. "But the quality of the content does not excuse the subpar launch experience we delivered, and I apologize for that."

He goes on about the problems for a bit, before revealing the aforementioned bonus time:

"In recognition of the difficulties so many of you ran into when trying to play over the first few days, we're adding five days' worth of extra time to every subscription in the Americas, Oceania, and Europe that was active as of Friday, November 14."

A nice gesture, or the least they can do?
