The German automotive titan BMW has announced and shown off a first look at a highly customisable moped that it will be rolling out. Known as the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, this bike is made to be tweaked to whatever suits you and has a design that screams 'beach-ready'.

As revealed in a press release, it's said that the Austrian designed e-scooter has been created with a "youthful target group" in mind, and yet despite this, features a power unit that can offer 0-50 km/h in 2.6 seconds all on top of a range of 130 km and a 0-80% charge time of just 65 minutes.

"Everyone defines the mobility of the future in their own individual way. With the BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept, we now present our own idea of a stylish and multifunctional urban e-scooter that shows just how mobility needs are as individual as each personality," said Paul Brauchart, founder of Vagabund Moto.

"We haven't reinvented the wheel, but we have taken a new look at function. We call it drawing on the synergies between functionality and aesthetics in a way that is suitable for everyday use."

The BMW CE 04 Vagabund Moto Concept is expected to sell for around £13,000, and as for when you might see one of these e-scooters on the road, no release date has been mentioned just yet.
