Borderlands multiplayer returns to PlayStation 3

Since the GameSpy multiplayer services that powered the first Borderlands was shut down last year, it hasn't been possible to play multiplayer online on PS3 (PC version was restored earlier). But now Gearbox have published a post on their website confirming that multiplayer functionality has been restored on PS3. And not only that, they even managed to add some minor multiplayer features that surely will be appreciated among those who have been waiting to get back online:

- Who is playing Borderlands
- Who is online
- Alphabetical order
• The "And They'll Tell Two Friends" Trophy will now grant correctly
• Improvements to voice chat
