Capcom has sold 1.5 million HD remastered Resident Evils 4-6
Resident Evil continues its reign as Capcom's most successful brand.

Doing HD remasters of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One seems to have been a stroke of genius on Capcom's behalf, as they have now confirmed over 1.5 million units have been sold (shipped) in total, and the retail editions haven't even launched in Europe yet.
In fact, North America alone accounts for over one million of those games, including both digital and retail. We expect this number to rise even further as we get closer to Black Friday and Christmas holidays.
Resident Evil as a series has now passed 69 million sold games and is Capcom's most successful brand by far. Are you a fan of the series?
