Valve has not slapped an official release date on Counter-Strike 2 just yet, but we know that it's supposed to be coming sometime this summer, which admittedly, is almost over. With this likely meaning that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's time in the sun is coming to an end, the dedicated fans at IEM Cologne and the ESL over the weekend decided to arrange a moment of silence to pay tribute to the game that has supported and been the basis for years and years of incredible esports.
Held at the famous Cathedral of Counter-Strike venue in Cologne, you can see the moment in the video below, where the ESL even created a tribute video, dimmed the lights, and asked people to raise their phones (not lighters these days) in respect for the title.
