Champions Online updated

Revelation, the rather big patch for Champions Online, has now gone live. The patch includes a lot of new stuff for CO-players; new costumes, a whole new area, new powers and perks. The patch is free, something that was not always the case - if you're not up to speed on your Champions Online forum wars, there were plans to charge extra for content like this before the community went ballistic about it. So yeah, now it's here - and free for all subscribers.

In other Champions Online news, Cryptic's Jack Emmeret wrote on the game's official forums that "100% of our focus is on making the current PC product the best it can be. There are no current plans for a console version of Champions" (thanks, Massively). Good to know, if you planned to save the world from super villians from the safety of your gaming couch.
