Last week was a pretty hectic week for the world of video games, as there were plenty of new releases to enjoy, and now GamesIndustry.biz has provided us with the UK charts, showing that Spyro's Reignited Trilogy is the winner of the battle for supremacy, sitting at the number one spot.
Pokémon Let's Go also launched last week, with Pikachu in at four and Eevee in at six, but stock issues in the UK meant that less units came in from Nintendo's European warehouse than anticipated. Also, download sales aren't included in these figures, and if you bundle both Pokémon Let's Go games together, they'd be top of the charts.
With regards to Spyro, 75% of sales came on PS4, and some might be surprised to see Fallout 76 as high as it is (number three) since there has been a lot of criticism leveled against it. Sales are indeed down 82.4% when compared to Fallout 4, but it actually generated the most revenue in UK retail last week, since Spyro had a lower price.
