Check out the first gameplay from Ancestors

The new game from the Assassin's Creed creator will task you with survival as humankind evolves.

Developer Panache Digital Games, under the creative leadership of Patrice Desilets (Assassin's Creed), has released the first gameplay video (a dev diary of sorts), detailing some of the survival mechanics in this episodic adventure game, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, where you'll play through the evolution of mankind.

The game will launch later this year, at least the first episode. What do you think of it and is this what you expected from the creator of Assassin's Creed?
