Chronicles of Spellborn gets release date

In one of the craziest moves in the history of MMOs, Spellborn Inc's upcoming Chronicles of Spellborn will be released on November 27 here in Europe. Yes, that's two weeks after Wrath of the Lich King. I'm a bit shocked, even though I am glad that they are sticking with launching this fall. Stick it to the man, Spellborn!

I had the chance to sit down with the game and get a good presentation during this year's Leipzig Games Convention, and I am actually very much looking forward to giving this a proper test run. But really, I am not sure how this game will be able to stand up to the onslaught that is the Lich King. I can only wish Spellborn Inc good luck with that, hopefully their budget is small enough to cope with a smaller amount of players for a while.
