Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Sandfall Interactive's debut title attracted more players than any other third-party game this year.

'A Painted Symphony' will take the music of the GOTY nominee across the continent between March and May.

"Any nomination or any credit I get, I really have to give to him, because I really believe that the performance of that character is down to him..."

The game also netted multiple other award wins for its performers, studio, and more.

The two Ubisoft Massive games will compete against Helldivers 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Sword of the Sea.

Naoki Hamaguchi: "If I've got a chance to work together with some of the people who make these kinds of games, I think that'd be really great..."

The art directors of both games have interpreted each other's main character, and the fans already want more of this.

We met Jennifer Svedberg-Yen in her home in northern Sweden to hear what she had to say about the runaway success of the masterpiece that is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

"There was a group of cosplayers who dressed up as Expedition 60 - the Naked Expedition. We don't even have a visual for them in the game..."

Jennifer Svedberg-Yen: "You can describe things in a particular way that you can't necessarily do in a strictly audio visual medium."
