Following the successful Rio Major that was held at the tail end of 2022, ESL has announced that competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be returning to South America this year for the Intel Extreme Masters Brazil tournament.

Set to be held between April 17-23, the event will see 16 teams attending and fighting for a share of the $250,000 prize pool. As for the attending teams, there will be qualifiers held between January 21 and February 16 to determine who are eligible, alongside direct invites being sent out on January 16.

Otherwise, ESL has shared few extra details relating to the tournament as of right now, but with IEM Brazil scheduled for April, it likely won't be long until further information is dished out.
