The ESL has announced that competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be returning to Brazil in 2023, following an epic, packed, and recently concluded Rio Major.

As noted in a tweet, we're told that a scheduled IEM event for the 2023 season will be played in Brazil, and it's thought that it will be the IEM Spring tournament, regarded as Intel Grand Slam that will take place in April, will be the very event that is heading back to South America.

Granted, this won't be a Major and therefore will only see 16 teams attending, rather than 24, and will only boast a $250,000 prize pool, but regardless it's great to see CS:GO coming back to Brazil, following a couple of missed years thanks to the pandemic.
