The Portuguese rally enthusiasts from Bigmoon Entertainment have announced a release date for Dakar 18, and the rally simulation will be released on September 11 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, meaning there are only a few months to wait before jumping into the annual rally in South America.
Dakar 18 wants to be a realistic simulation of the world's biggest cross-country rally, allowing you to choose from a variety of different vehicles and drive over a huge game world. We will use the official road book to keep our bearings in the 14 stages in Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina, and there are plenty of environments to contend with.
Players can compete online with other players in Dakar 18 too, or increase their speed and navigation skills offline. Many of the official vehicles and drivers of the five racing categories (car, motorcycle, trucks, quads, and SxS) are available for use, and there's even split-screen for some local fun.
Below you can check out a fresh trailer for the game showing off the vehicles. Are you ready to eat some sand?
