Publisher Bandai Namco has detailed the upcoming Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin upgrade path and PC system requirements in the company's latest community blog.
By itself the independent expansion Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin costs $49.99, but if want to upgrade from a previous Steam version you can do that with $29.99. If you happen to own all the DLC the price is even lower at $19.99.
Keep in mind that save files carry over only on PS3, Xbox 360 and DirectX9 PCs.
