Left hanging in the wake of the THQ closure while other IP were successfully sold off to other publishers, the fate of fantasy adventure series Darksiders has been left in question: until now. It looks like its creators are wanting the series back with them.
That's the word from David Adams, co-founder of now-defunt studio Vigil Games, who along with a bunch of ex-staff now reside as part of a new Crytek studio created in the wake of THQ's dissolving.
"Going to bid on Darksiders IP." He stated via Twitter. "Put 7 years of heart and soul into that franchise, and I think it belongs at home with its creators."
News site Destructoid reached out another Vigil co-founder, Ryan Stefanelli, who offered additional confirmation: "When the Darksiders IP goes up for auction, Crytek will be bidding for it."
