Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors will be re-released on PlayStation Network at the end of this month.
The one-on-one beat'em up, which takes the Street Fighter formula and applies it to mix of classic horror creatures, was originally released in arcades in 1994, and saw a PlayStation port shortly after: it's this version, reports CVG, that'll be making the leap to PSN on November 29th.
The game had multiple sequels, and while never finding as strong a hold in the West, saw numerous characters, including Morrigan and Felicia cameo in Capcom's Versus series, including Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
While the game was based on the Street Fighter mechanics, the game's cartoon style actually became the template for the Street Fighter Alpha series, which divided fans in the 90s for its shift in art style.
