DC Universe Online announced for Xbox One

Daybreak Game Company sheds Sony exclusivity.

DC Universe Online was originally released for PC and Playstation 3 and later appeared on PS4 as well. Nothing strange about that since it was developed by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE). However, the studio was sold off last year to Columbus Nova and renamed Daybreak Game Company.

That means the studio is free to go multiplatform, and therefore they have now announced that their super hero simulator DC Universe Online will be released for Xbox One this spring. No other details are yet know regarding things like release date, bonus content and such, but we'll let you know when there are new details to convey.
