DC Universe Online grows

DC Universe Online has been free-to-play for a week now and it has given the user number a substantial boost, according to Sony Online Entertainment (via Gamespot. According to CEO John Smedley the number of users has increased by more than 1000 per cent since it went free-to-play. Of course, increasing by 1000 per cent from a very low number isn't all that difficult so it remains to be seen if DC Universe Online can hold on to the new players and build revenue through the free-to-play model.
