Dead Island - Zombie Bait statue

For those of you who really, really love your zombie games, here's a special edition with a difference. Deep Silver today announced the ‘Zombie Bait' edition of their forthcoming game, Dead Island: Riptide.

The game is due to launch on these shores on April 26, and those who stump up enough for the limited edition will be treated a Steelbook edition of the game, collectable artwork cards, and additional weapon mods. However, the main focus of attention will likely fall on the statue included. Measuring 31cm high and 18.5cm wide, each hand-painted sculpture is based on a classic Roman design, with a dash of zombie-flavoured style, of course.

Deep Silver's Paul Nicholls said: "Dead Island Riptide is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and is set to build on the original's reputation for OTT action, dark humour and brutal zombie bashing. We wanted to provide a unique collector's edition that was utterly ‘Dead Island' and would make a striking conversation piece on any discerning zombie gamer's mantel."
