Many people were scratching their heads at the size of the latest update for Dead Rising 3, with it weighing in at 13GB. Well now we know that part of the file size can be attributed to an upcoming content update. On top of that there's a lengthy explanation of the various tweaks and improvements that came along with the new DLC.
Operation Broken Eagle will be available at some point today, will cost £7.99, and puts players in control of Spec Ops commander Adam Kane. Along with a new combo weapon, vehicle and outfit, Kane will be tasked with rescuing the missing President (a scenario that'll make more sense to those that have played the game).
MS sent the following statement to VG247: "The update introduces a host of improvements to single-player and co-op gameplay, including a variety of performance and stability upgrades, and fixes for issues related to achievements, UI updates, SmartGlass and more. Additionally, it adds a new impulse trigger feature that notifies players when they are running low on ammo."
