Fans of football (or soccer, if you're American) were excited to learn that the 2019 version of Pro Evolution Soccer would become available for free as PS Plus subscribers. Something happened though and instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, the deluxe edition of Detroit: Become Human (that also comes with Heavy Rain as well as and Horizon Chase Turbo took its place.

No information was released as to why the change occurred, but a Konami spokesperson told GameSpot that the "decision was made by Sony and so please make an inquiry to Sony".

Apart from this statement, Lennart Bobzien (PES European brand manager) told GameSpot that he didn't even get the information until the fans did "I cannot really tell you what happened because I just found out today, in the morning when I opened my laptop," Bobzien said. "I can't really explain", Bobzien stated.

This being said, the July lineup is still a great one, but it sure is odd to pull a game and replace it post-announcement.

What do you think of the change?
