Divinity: Original Sin II not ruling out mod support on consoles

At least according to product manager Kieron Kelly.

Larian Studios' Divinity: Original Sin II was released almost a year ago on PC, receiving very high praise from players and the media alike (you can read our review right here if you'd like), and while the game is also coming to PS4 and Xbox One, one wouldn't have expected these versions to have mod support, but that's something that hasn't in fact been ruled out by Larian Studios.

DualShockers had the chance to interview Larian Studios' product manager Kieron Kelly, who said that mods are "not ruled out just yet", which is surprising considering it's far from the norm and that mod support in console games like Fallout and Skyrim hasn't exactly been smooth sailing. In fact, console mod support has even been "looked into".

Maybe Divinity: Original Sin II is able to break this habit? What do you think?

"It's almost mind-boggling to think how much work has gone into creating this immersive world that's so full of possibility and detail."
