In recent years it's become a thing to experiment with weird and wonderful ways to play games, like using fruit to control Dark Souls or making games run on a calculator, and now one creative soul has got Doom to run on a McDonald's cash register.
You can see these efforts from Ryan Edgar on Twitter, and he said the following to Kotaku about making it work:
"[I] downloaded ZDOOM (Doom XP) on it using my personal computer, plugged it into the USB in the cash register and ran it through there with auto run."
So that's how the magic happened, and how he was able to deliver a McSmackdown to a load of demons.
