It hasn't even been a year since Dragon Quest Builders launched here in Europe, but we've heard rumblings of a sequel for quite some time, rumours that have recently been made reality via an official announcement from Square Enix.
The developer revealed during a livestream last night that Dragon Quest Builders 2 is heading to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. They didn't want to reveal a release date just yet, but said that the game will include some interesting new features. Not only did they show that we'll finally be able to swim and dive under water, but also that we'll get to use a cloth to glide through the air. Still, the feature that might interest many of you the most is that it'll have co-operative multiplayer. That's pretty much all we know right now, but we expect to get further details later this autumn.
These three features were definitely on our wish list for a sequel, so consider us interested. How about you?
