Dragon's Prophet in 2013

Berlin-based Infernum Productions have confirmed plans to launched Runewalker's (Runes of Magic) upcoming free-to-play MMORPG Dragon's Prophet. Said to have been designed mainly with Western MMO players in mind, the game looks to follow up on the success of Runes of Magic.

A brief explanation of the setting and story found on the official website:

"In ancient times, the Elder Dragons forged the vast lands of the world Auratia. The last Dragon War brought utter devastation and eradicated many ancient dragons. While the scars of conflict still haunt these lands, hope for peace has surfaced. Yet a pair of crimson eyes stares menacingly from the depths of southern Auratia. Will Auratia survive another dragon war?"

Dragon's Prophet is currently in "friends & family" beta in Europe, and more people will soon be invited to join the closed beta test. Interest gamers can register on the forums of the official website in order to participate in activities where the first beta keys are given out.

The plan is to launch Dragon's Prophet in 2013.
