In a few weeks time, fans of esports will be flocking to the west coast of America to attend the DreamHack San Diego event. The massive event will feature an array of games and additional offerings, but will be headlined by a Rocket League Major, where players will be competing for a share of a $310,000 prize pool.
With DreamHack San Diego set for April 7-9, the Rocket League Championship Series' presence will be that of the Winter Major. But to add to this, the event will also feature tournaments in the Snapdragon Pro Series, the U.S. Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship, DreamHack Fighters, and Fortnite, with hundreds of thousands of dollars to be won across all of the tournaments.
But that won't be all, as DreamHack San Diego will bring additional activities, such as cosplay contests and creator showcases, and even an exclusive showing of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, to coincide with its premiere shortly before the event kicks off.
