Esports event brand DreamHack has announced that the Valencia event is hosting a DreamHack Showdown tournament for female CS:GO teams, with eight teams fighting it out for a prize pool of $100,000 USD between July 5 and 7.

"This collaboration seeks to elevate ambitious women CS:GO players in the global esports scene and provide a dedicated platform to support their professional growth. We aim to raise the visibility of the women currently in the space, provide equal access to competitive support as their male counterparts, and offer a concrete way for women players to find guidance and inspiration to establish their path to pro," DreamHack's site explains.

This tournament will see two invited teams joined by two teams each from Europe, North America, and Asia qualifiers. An official ruleset is coming soon, but for now you can find out about qualifiers right here.
