DRX are the 2022 League of Legends World champions

The League of Legends competitive season is now over. Following multiple seasons of play, LAN tournaments over the year, and most recently the premier Worlds 2022 tournament, the season is now over, and that means we have a winner to talk about.

For 2022, the victor has been decided as DRX, a team who knocked out T1 in the grand finals in San Francisco over the weekend, in a match that concluded with DRX winning 3-2.

This result also means that all eyes are on Riot Games once again, as fans await to hear more information about the 2023 season, and where on the planet the next Worlds tournament will be held.
