Dynasty Warriors 9, which we recently played at TGS, is the next big entry in long-running series from Koei Tecmo and Omega Force. It's heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One next year, and when it lands those playing the game on console will have options.
Specifically, we're talking about those who own a PS4 Pro or the upcoming Xbox One X, with producer Akihiro Suzuki recently confirming that DW9 will follow the example of Nioh and allow players the option of choosing a higher resolution or an improved frame-rate.
Speaking with Gamereactor, Suzuki told us that players will be able to choose between 30 frames-per-second and dynamic adaptive resolution, or a lower resolution running at a silky smooth 60 frames-per-second.
As an aside, according to a recent report on DualShockers, those owning a Switch and hoping that Dynasty Warriors 9 would follow other titles to Nintendo's new platform will be disappointed, as the publisher has no plans to port the game over.
