Last year's E3 was a weird experience. While it returned to the LA Convention Center where it had its hay days it was a mere shadow of its former self without a proper show floor and basically just a series of meeting rooms.

In a move that seems contradictory to everything that is happening in the world economy these days the organisers (ESA) are bringing back the full scale E3 show (last seen in 2006) this year and it appears all the big hitters will be in attendance. As membership in the ESA is no longer necessary both Activision Blizzard and Bethesda (the two most notable non-ESA members) will be showcasing their products at E3 in June.

The only absentee of the major publishers appears to be NCsoft who are also no longer an ESA member. Below is a partial list with the most notable of the 70 company strong line up that has been confirmed so far.
