EA reveal Shadows of the Damned

EA have revealed Shadows of the Damned, the highly anticipated collaborative horror title from No More Heroes creator Goichi Suda and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. The game is set to release on PS3 and 360 next summer, and stars demon hunter Garcia Hotspur as he journeys into hell to "rescue the love of his life by defeating the armies of darkness with the power of the light". Silent Hill's sound director Akira Yamaoka will serve as music compose on the project.

The title is billed as a "psychological action thriller" with a "punk rock edge", claims Mikami. "With Shadows Of The Damned gamers will fight for love in the most difficult arena imaginable: Hell. Players will find themselves surrounded by demons set on destroying their heart and soul. Only the strong will survive."
