Elder Scrolls Blades announced for Nintendo Switch

It's not Skyrim for another platform, but it's close! The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the mobile spin-of set in The Elder Scrolls universe is coming to Nintendo's hybrid console this autumn. Happily, the game will remain free-to-play for Nintendo users but will likely retain its microtransaction model.

It was also announced that cross-play and cross-progression will occur between the mobile and Switch versions, allowing you to carry on the fight from mobile. If you go ahead and download the iOS or Android versions that are already out, you can pick up where you left off on Switch later this year.

A new update has also dropped for the mobile release, bringing a new dragon-oriented questline to Blades.
