The bullet hell roguelike title Enter the Gungeon released last April to critical acclaim, selling nearly 800,000 copies. To keep the momentum flowing, developer Dodge Roll Games has just dropped a new update on PC, which is free and includes a massive amount of new content.

The Supply Drop update adds just under 200 new rooms to the Gungeon, including new weapons, enemies, companions, bosses, and shrines. You can expect craziness like the Bullet Gun: a bullet-shaped gun which shoots even more guns, and those guns shoot bullets. There's also new companion called Ser Junkan who gets powered up with every scrap of junk you carry.

In addition to the update, Enter the Gungeon is discounted by 50% as part of Steam's Weekend Deal.

The PS4 version is to receive the Supply Drop update next week. Dodge Roll also plans to release a full paid expansion for both platforms in late 2017 or early 2018. Is this update enough to make you return to the game, for those of you who haven't picked it up in a while?
