ESPN reveals EXP esports series, starting with Apex Legends

We can expect competitions for Respawn's battle royale game at 2019 ESPYS and the X Games in Minneapolis.

ESPN has unveiled EXP, an event series featuring esports competitions, with Apex Legends coming to the 2019 ESPYS and X Games Minneapolis events this year.

Multiple games and formats will be featured as part of EXP, and ESPN will show highlights across their networks. Celebrities, influencers, and more will be there for an exhibition Apex Legends match during 2019 ESPYS, with the best players coming together at the X Games later in the year.

"We remain committed to serving gaming fans across all platforms and content types, and Apex Legends is a great title to showcase EXP's vision of offering world-class live esports events anchored by storytelling and multi-platform distribution."
