It has been announced that the Grand Final of the eSports WRC championship has been postponed until 2021. The event has been pushed due to the ongoing pandemic, meaning we will have to wait until next year to see who claims the title for this season. More details regarding how and when this will take place is set to be revealed very soon.

To follow-up on that, the sixth eSports WRC season is also set to begin in January 2021, with a full calendar year of activities planned, comprising 13 rounds of events. This new calendar will see competition between January and July, before also looking to host a Grand Finals series at the end of 2021. You can check out the image below to see the planned events in further detail.

Finally, with this new season, a special Club will become available for the ten finalists of the current season to take-part and compete in high-level competitions. Spectators can watch these races on the eSports WRC website right here. Similarly a second Club will be opened for all PC players to race against various official WRC drivers.

REVIEW. Written by Petter Hegevall

"It's a really good game that mixes WRC 7 with WRC 8 and peppers it with a little bit of Richard Burns Rally to create a really tasty main course."
