
ESL has announced that it is hosting a League of Legends: Wild Rift championship in the South-East Asian region, a tournament that is set to crown the "King of SEA". The event, known as the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021, will be offering a $200,000 prize pool, to be split among its top placing teams, and will be taking place in around a month, between September 14 and October 3.
The event will also bring 20 teams from various countries in the South-East Asian region to compete, and as for the schedule for the tournament, we're told that it will start with a Play-In stage on September 14, before moving onto a Group Stage, and finally a Main Event, starting on September 30, which will see the best teams fighting it out for the biggest shares of the prize pool.
